How much does an eye exam cost?

Our full comprehensive eye exams are priced at $80.
 
As of April 1st, 2021, the cost of the eye exam will increase to $90.

How often should I get an eye exam?

Ages 5 - 19 years old:
Annually.
Ages 20 - 64 years old:
Every 2 years.
Ages 65 and older:
Annually.

How long will it take to receive my glasses?

Depending on your prescription and frame selection, your glasses will normally be ready in approximately 7-14 business days.
 
Please note:
We will call you as soon as they come in and are ready for pick up.

Question 7

Do you direct bill (insurance)?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we direct bill to most insurance companies for glasses and contacts. 
 
We do not direct bill for eye exams.
However, you may still claim the cost of the exam through your insurance.

Question 8

Does OHIP cover my eye exams?

Accepted Answer

OHIP covers annual eye exams for patients aged 19 years old and younger.
OHIP covers annual eye exams for patients aged 65 years old and older.
OHIP covers annual eye exams for patients aged 20-64 who have medical conditions affecting their eyes and require annual exams. 
Conditons that are covered include the following:
Diabetes mellitus
Glaucoma
Cataract
Retinal disease .... and others.
